Papa Joe Ride 2014

After two decades, the Lefebvre Family and the community completed the 20th and Final Journey of the Papa Joe Memorial Ride for Cancer, Saturday, May 24, 2014.

The fundraiser began in 1994, when a group of close friends gathered to ride their bikes in memory of Joseph A. Lefebvre (Papa Joe), who lost his battle with cancer in 1993.

“Since 1999, our Ride has raised over $315,000 toward the building of the new Health Centre as well as needed medical equipment for cancer care. It is a fitting tribute to Papa Joe who loved to ride,” says Don Lefebvre.
