Welcome to the North Bay Regional Health Centre

This section is designed to provide patients and their families with important information about the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC).

North Bay Regional Health Centre is a smoke free facility

By-Law No. 2011-106 & policy NBRHC ADM 10 – prohibits tobacco use or smoking of any kind  by visitors, patients, or employees anywhere on hospital property, including personal vehicles. Smoking on property is subject to fine under By-Law No. 2011-106.

NBRHC policy covers all forms of tobacco and smoking, including electronic cigarettes.

Cafeteria, Coffee Shops & Gift Shop

The Main street Café

Located near the Main Lobby by the Information desk on level 200 (proudly serving Tim Horton’s).

The Market (cafeteria)

Located on level 100 (proudly serving Tim Horton’s Coffee & Baked Goods and also serving daily featured lunches and grilled comfort foods and grab and go snack/meal items & confectionery).

Gift Shop – Main St. Gifts & Variety

The Gift Shop, operated by the Friends of NBRHC, is located next to Tim Horton’s in the Main East Lobby (Level 200) and has gift items, toiletries, reading material, media cards and flowers available for purchase. Call (705) 474-8600 Ext. 3141 to contact the Gift Shop directly.

Profits made in the Gift Shop are returned to the hospital through donations made by the Friends of NBRHC.

Gift Shop Hours of Operation

*Evening and weekend hours are determined by volunteer availability. The Gift Shop will be closed on Stat and Civic Holidays.

The Friends of NBRHC also manages a ticket booth (Level 200, Main East Lobby) and vendor kiosk (Level 100, beside the Cafeteria).
