Urodynamic Clinic

This clinic provides urodynamic testing which is a test to examine the flow and motion of urine in the urinary tract and with the use of bladder and rectal catheters shows how the bladder is working. Abdominal pressures are also measured.

Patients may feel pressure when the bladder is being filled, but will not feel any pain. One does not pass or fail this test. The results of the test will help the patient and their doctor plan treatment.

A physician referral to this clinic is required. The urologist or gynecologist physician will order the test which is then performed by specially trained and skilled nurses. Please bring your Ontario Health Card with you.
