The Lottie Frenssen Volunteer Award is presented on a bi-annual basis (fall and spring) to honour the dedicated NBRHC volunteers who exemplify our values (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence and Courage) and have made a positive impact in our Health Centre.
The award is named after long-time volunteer Lottie Frenssen, who supported the organization for an impressive 50 years. She worked tirelessly as a volunteer to support a culture of philanthropy by raising funds for patient programs and equipment.
If you wish to recognize a NBRHC volunteer please submit your nomination by completing an online form.
Nominations forms must be submitted by September 1st to be considered for a fall award and March 1st to be considered for a spring award.
You can also recognize a volunteer through the Grateful Family Program that is offered through the NBRHC Foundation.
Your donation through The Grateful Family Program is a meaningful way you and your family can express your gratitude for your experience at your hospital. Your donation will honour, thank and recognize a staff member, physician, volunteer, or department with a Golden Heart Award. To make a Grateful Family donation click the ‘Donate Now’ button at the top, right side of this page.
