Cartier Facility

North Bay Regional Health Centre’s (NBRHC) Cartier facility is a 40-bed unit located at 111 Cartier Street in North Bay, providing 24-hour care to people who require specific medical and therapeutic services in a supportive environment.

This program helps patients maintain strength, energy, and functioning before transitioning home or to a new living destination.

Care is provided by a multi-disciplinary team, including nursing (RNs, RPNs, PSWs), physicians, recreational therapists, pharmacists, rehabilitation assistants, and social workers. Patients also have access to physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.

Visitors are encouraged to visit patients between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Care partners are not restricted to these hours. Parking is available on-site in an outside lot.
